Customize your service (optional)...
Checking Interval:
How regularly should we check for problems? We recommend that checks be performed every 15 minutes; however you may choose any value from 5 minutes to 120 minutes.
Note: If you are unsure about this value, leave it at 15.
Retry Attempts:
*We recommend that the number of "Retry Attempts" be set to 3. However, you may choose any value between 3 and 10.
If a problem is detected XPulse goes into a state of alert (known as a soft-error condition). Soft-errors are not considered critical until the service is re-checked. XPulse normally re-checks the service 3* times before the problem is reported to you by SMS. This is necessary to prevent false-positives.
Note: If you are unsure about this value, leave it at 3.
Retry Interval:
*We recommend that the "Retry Interval" be set to 2 minutes. However, you may choose any value between 1 and 10 minutes.

XPulse normally re-checks the service 3 (retry attempts) times at 2* minute intervals before the problem is reported to you by SMS. This is necessary to prevent false-positives.
Note: If you are unsure about this value, leave it at 2.
